BIBLIOPHILE CALENDAR
The Bibliophile Calendar was made for anyone with a vast love of books, the libraries that hold them and the gold threads of insight buried within. The vision for this project is to celebrate books and bring their insights into our everyday lives in a manner worthy of their substance — how better than by screen printing whimsical art expressing these finds in shimmering gold?
Each month features a unique piece of art by a different artist—illustrations paired with premium screen-printing and foiling techniques—to capture the wonder of beloved fictional worlds. The project bridged the gap between functional design and keepsake art collectibles.
I had the privilege to serve as an illustrator and hands-on collaborator for both editions. Every step of the project from production planning, artist coordination, and quality control was done meticulously. Each detail, from the inner box designs on the magnetic closure box, to the hand-proofed foil, bonus stickers and bookmarks, prints, and neatly assembled calendar stands captures the spirit of the project. To showcase both the talent of each artist, and capture the inner magic each of the portrayed fictional worlds has given its readership.
The first edition’s Kickstarter campaign was featured by Kickstarter and surpassed all funding goals, establishing a strong community following and paving the way for a second, even more ambitious edition. The project also grew beyond a calendar into a collectible high-quality art print series treasured by readers, gift-givers, and art lovers alike.
